Truck-Driver Training Program is approved by the California State Approving Agency for Veterans
Education, and therefore, is recognized as an approved program by the US Department of Veteran
Affairs.  This means you can use your Post 9/11 GI Bill to cover the tuition and fees associated with your
truck-driver training program.

Using your
Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits for your truck driver training is easy.  Simply contact a VA
Certifying Official and they will request the necessary paperwork from you.  They will handle all the
necessary filing for your benefits so you can focus on your new career training! If you want to get a jump
start on the necessary paperwork, have these following documents handy:
Truck Driving School for Veterans
• DD214
• Current or Past Award Letter for Benefits (if available)
• Social Security Card
• Driving Record
• Valid Drivers License
On average, it will take 5-7 business days for all the necessary paperwork to be filed with the Department
of Veteran Affairs, which means you can start training within a week of submitting your paperwork with a
school's VA Certifying Official!
